The Salvation Army is an extra busy place in the months leading up to December 25, as we celebrate the Advent season, the celebration of the birth of Jesus.

THANK YOU to Swift Current & area for your support.

Christmas Hampers

Applications will be received:
Monday to Thursday, Nov. 19-22, & Nov. 26-29
10 am to noon & 1 - 3 pm

Christmas Kettles

This important fundraiser operates from Nov. 24 to Dec. 22.
Christmas Kettle volunteers are needed.  A Kettle shift is only two hours.  To volunteer, please call our office 306-778-0515.  If the line is busy, please leave your name and phone number

The Christmas Kettle Kick-off and Miracle Room opening is Saturday, Nov. 24 @ 10 am. 
The Miracle Room is located in the Swift Current Mall,
near Safeway.

Food Drives - large and small

Food drives, both large and small enable us to provide Christmas Hampers.   Food can be dropped off at our building located at
780 1st Ave NW or at the Miracle Room

 * All donations are very useful, currently we are in need of:

  • Dry soup mix (chicken noodle, onion)

  • Canned Fruit

  • Canned tomatoes – small

  • Pasta – 500g packages

  • Spaghetti – 900g packages

  • Peanut Butter – 500 g and 2 Kg

  • Juice 1 litre and 10 or 5 packages 200 ml

  • Ramen Noodles

  • Ramen Noodle Cups

  • Flakes of Ham

  • Flakes of Turkey or Chicken

  • Canned Chicken – Large

  • Mixed Seafood – shrimp, oysters

  • Mixed Spam

Community Christmas Day Dinner

A Community Christmas Dinner is held on Christmas Day at The Salvation Army location.  This dinner is made possible by multiple partner agencies and groups who make this happen.
The meal begins at 2 pm, with a Carol Sing starting at 1 pm.

Advent Sunday Services

There will be special Advent Sunday church services for the four Sundays leading up to Christmas.  If you do not have a regular home church, why not join us, Sundays @ 10:30 pm

Our annual youth & children Christmas concert will be held on Sunday, December 2nd
