Restorative Justice - Alternative
Measures
The
Salvation Army in Swift Current administers Restorative Justice
Programs for both youth and adults throughout southwest
Saskatchewan.
Restorative Justice is an approach to
justice that focuses on addressing issues based on restoration
and reconciliation.
Victims and offenders are provided
a safe place and time to discuss harm done and its impact on
them. With the assistance of a trained mediator, they
work together on an agreement aimed at making things as right
as possible. This program is sanctioned by and fully
funded by the Government of Saskatchewan.

host the Free Legal Clinic. The Swift Current Free Legal Clinic
offers free legal advice in areas of Family Law, Criminal Law,
and Civil Law and its services are provided to those who do not
qualify for legal aid but are unable to afford legal council .
